Warehouse Manager

We are looking for a leader for our warehouse team in Barkåker, Tønsberg. The Warehouse Manager will drive efficient, organized warehouse operations—overseeing goods control, inventory accuracy, and safe practices. This role is key to ensuring smooth logistics, strong Supply Chain collaboration, and excellence in service. Key tasks and responsibilities:

Oversee control of goods received, including packing, content verification, and condition checks; record receipts in the companies ERP system Microsoft D365. Pack and document outgoing goods per established guidelines. Ensure effective inventory control with regular stock checks, discrepancy management, and accurate receiving and delivery routines. Manage and supply necessary packing materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all Occupational Health Service standards. Ensure safe equipment handling, including forklift operation. Coordinate transport of goods and equipment with approved transporters. Collaborate with Supply Chain to plan warehouse activities, adjusting for additional support during peak periods.

Qualification and experience

Experience from previous warehouse operations, including inventory control and packing. Forklift certification and commitment to safe equipment handling. Knowledge of import/export processes and international shipping requirements. Detail-oriented, with skills in managing accurate inventory counts. Experience with ERP system handling (preferably Dynamics 365). Effective teamwork and collaboration across departments. Focus on efficiency and continuous improvement in warehouse processes. Positive attitude, flexibility, and a sense of humour.
