Voices of Vow: Maitè Huron
Innovation for industrial decarbonization
Maïté’s career has been shaped by curiosity, data, and a strong desire to contribute to meaningful change. With a general engineering background, she expanded her expertise through a PhD and postdoctoral fellowship in biomass valorization, focusing on how biological resources can be transformed into valuable energy and materials. For Maïté, choosing a career linked to the energy transition and the decarbonization of industry was a deliberate decision. She wanted her work to address real challenges of the 21st century.
She joined ETIA, part of Vow ASA, as an R&D Engineer. Today, she leads the ETIA Innovation Department as Head of Innovation, shaping and driving the company’s R&D roadmap. Together with her dedicated and trustworthy team, she addresses a broad range of topics, from food sterilization technologies to advanced plastic pyrolysis. The diversity and complexity of these challenges are what she enjoys most about her role.
