Do you want to develop control systems for advanced environmental technology plants?

We are expanding our team and are looking for Automation Engineers to join our office in Tønsberg, Norway.

At Vow Automation, you will work with end-to-end automation and control systems for the maritime and industrial sectors. Our solutions contribute to the production of clean energy and help reduce emissions globally.

The Role

You will become part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary engineering team. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and a motivation to work with engineering and design of modern automation systems, including PLC and SCADA solutions. 

Your responsibilities and level of technical ownership will be tailored to your experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering of electrical and automation solutions
  • Development and programming of PLC and SCADA systems
  • System design, functional descriptions, and technical documentation
  • Testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and commissioning of process plants
  • Close collaboration with process, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
  • Technical responsibility in projects (depending on experience)
  • This role requires some travel.

 

Qualifications 

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • A technical degree (MSc, BSc, or technical college) in a relevant field 
  • Experience with PLC and SCADA systems 
  • Strong cross-disciplinary technical understanding 
  • A structured and solution-oriented way of working 
  • Strong collaboration skills 
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
