Sustainability

We operate in a global market with international operations, and the world around us is constantly changing. Through our sustainability efforts, we want to contribute positively to the people and environments connected to our business—while also navigating risks and making use of new opportunities.
Sustainability at Vow is about being aware of our impact and making conscious decisions. It helps us understand what matters most to our stakeholders, align with regulations, and support the company’s long-term direction.
Our sustainability work helps us identify risks and opportunities and gives direction to the company’s strategy. It supports decision-making and helps us stay prepared in a changing world.
At the same time, we aim to provide clear and reliable information to customers, investors, employees, and other stakeholders. We want to be transparent about how we work, meet legal requirements, and maintain an open dialogue with those affected by or interested in our activities.
The direction of our sustainability work is based on what is most important for Vow and for those affected by our activities. We use a double materiality assessment to identify the topics that have the greatest impact, and those that represent risks or opportunities for our business. This helps us prioritise and stay focused.
We seek input from stakeholders such as customers, employees, and investors. In addition, our work is shaped by relevant laws, regulations, and frameworks that guide expectations in the industries and markets we operate in.
At Vow, our efforts to address climate change and reduce environmental impact are closely linked to the technology we provide—because we believe that industry can, and should, be transformed to operate in harmony with nature.
We offer a range of technologies across different markets. Many of these help our customers reduce CO₂ emissions, prevent pollution, and contribute to a more circular economy by recovering materials that would otherwise be treated as waste.

While our technologies help customers reduce emissions and prevent pollution, we are equally focused on improving our own environmental performance. We measure and monitor greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain to identify where we can reduce our footprint.
We also assess climate-related risks and opportunities to understand how changing environmental conditions could affect our supply chains, operations, and markets—and how we can respond and adapt over time.
Our employees are the foundation of our business. They design, produce, assemble, and deliver the solutions that make our work possible. That’s why creating a workplace where people feel engaged, appreciated, and motivated to stay is one of our highest priorities.
We work to maintain and develop a strong, inclusive company culture—one that is rooted in trust, responsibility, and shared purpose. Communication, collaboration, and development are key focus areas in our day-to-day work. We want our people to grow with us, both professionally and personally.
We are committed to health and safety and are proactively enhancing our efforts in this critical area. Many of our employees are based in production or on site. We are committed to making sure everyone returns home safely, every day—by staying alert, assessing risks, and taking responsibility together. We believe all accidents can be prevented.
A diverse and inclusive workforce brings new perspectives and better decisions. Our industry has traditionally been male-dominated, and we are actively working to improve gender balance and overall diversity across the organisation. Improving gender balance is one of our key focus areas within diversity, as this is where we see the greatest need—and opportunity—for change.

We operate as part of a wider value chain and rely on strong partnerships to deliver our solutions. That means working closely with others—and continuously improving together.
We aim to run our business responsibly, both internally and throughout our supply chain. This includes preventing corruption, respecting human and labour rights, and carrying out proper due diligence. We believe that taking responsibility in these areas strengthens the way we deliver and adds value for our customers, partners, and society.
